Research

Our research is related to fluid-solid couplings in geomechanics and their applications in the field of environmental, geo-energy engineering, hydrogeology, seismology and tectonophysics. Our primary focus is on the interplay between stress, deformation, fracture and fluid flow in geo-materials using a combination of theoretical, numerical and experimental investigations.

We work at the crossroads between the disciplines of theoretical/applied mechanics and geophysics.
