Short Biography
I am currently a Ph.D. student at DISAL. Before starting my doctoral studies, I have received both my B.Sc. and M.Sc. at EPFL, respectively in microengineering and robotics. In 2024, I carried out my master’s thesis at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) working on a launchable drone prototype (SQUID) to be deployed for search and rescue as well as quick surveying applications. Following this, I stayed on at Caltech for an extra year working as a research engineer, mainly on mobile robot manipulation, in particular in the context of solar farm maintenance and operations.
Research Interests and Projects
My research interests include multi-robot systems, drones, hardware design and distributed control systems. Lately, I mainly work on localization challenges in cluttered environments in particular in the context of gas sensing.
Teaching
I work as a TA in the Signals, Instruments, and Systems (ENG-366) and Distributed Intelligent Systems (ENG-466) classes.
