Standard arrangement

Request for accommodations in case of a diagnosis already established or in progress

EPFL provides specific arrangements for lectures and/or exams for students (CMS, bachelor, master Euler courses if EPFL credits) and PhD students in a situation of disability so that they can undertake their studies under the best conditions while ensuring the respect of learning objectives.

  • Any arrangement for chronic illness/disorder/disability must be evaluated, approved, and implemented within specific time frames. Please consult the submission deadlines below and plan ahead for your arrangement request. Completing the form and preparing the required documents can take time. It is also possible that additional documents may be requested during the processing of your request and that you may need to contact your specialist again.
  • Diagnosis already established: Any request made after the deadline and/or incomplete at the deadline (missing document or information) will not be considered by the arrangement Committee. In the case of a complete file submitted after the deadline, the request may be considered by the arrangement Committee during the next deadline period.
  • Diagnosis in progress: Individuals currently undergoing diagnosis should contact [email protected] as soon as possible to see how to handle this request.
