Our team offers full support throughout the processâfrom course design to final production. You can also apply for support through the DRIL fund to help bring your project to life. Join us in sharing your expertise with a wider audience and expanding the impact of your teaching.
MOOCs distribution / Learning Management Systems
edX
edX is hosting 77 courses from EPFL. The most popular ones are on Micro and Nano fabrication MEMs, Matlab for beginners (french) as well as Astrophysics (french).
Coursera
Coursera is hosting 58 courses and 2 specialisations from EPFL. Inlcuding our most popular MOOCs on Functional programming with Scala and on Digital Signal Processing.
Courseware
Courseware is the local platform we operate oursevelves and use for our own students, 100% hosted in Switzerland. We use it to support first year students in the domains of Algebra (I, II, III), Analysis and Physics (Newton, Point Matériel, Référentiels, Solide and Lagrange.
Mediaspace
Similar to Youtube, but intended for Swiss universities, mediaspace by Kaltura provides EPFL units (labs..) with a space to manage videos and broadcasting channels. These videos can then be embedded on web pages and on Moodle, viewed directly on the platform or added to playlists.
