Cleaning
No special cleaning is done at EPFL venues before an event.
If you would like a cleaning service, please indicate this in the Events form. This service is provided by the ISS cleaning company and will be done at your expense, based on either your request or the conditions for that particular venue.
Event set-up
Some event venues can be configured for the purposes of your event, provided you meet all safety and security requirements. We have developed a series of standard set-up plans that you can use to map out how you would like your venue arranged. The completed plans must be attached to your request.
You can set up the venue yourself or request that it be done by ISS.
Furniture rentals
EPFL provides certain types of furniture such as tables, chairs and panels free of charge. Each building has a designated caretaker who can tell you which furniture can be moved without requiring the services of ISS.
ISS’s services are required if you need to move large amounts of furniture or furniture that is stored in certain places on campus. These services will be provided at your expense.

Services are billed on a time-spent basis. Prices below are per person-hour.
Monday to Saturday, 6am to 11pm – CHF 40.35
Monday to Saturday, 11pm to 6am – CHF 50.40
Sunday, 6am to 11pm – CHF 60.50
Sunday, 11pm to 6am – CHF 60.50
