Pregnant employees or employees planning a pregnancy are invited to complete the maternity announcement form and send it by email to Occupational Health as early as possible. All information is treated with the strictest confidentiality. Early notification helps ensure optimal protection for both mother and child.
An EPFL occupational physician will meet with you in complete confidence and, if necessary, arrange a specific assessment of your workstation by occupational hygienists.
Students who may be exposed to certain occupational or environmental risks are also encouraged to contact us by email.
During pregnancy and the breastfeeding period, employees and students have access to the campus infirmaries, where they can rest, lie down, or enjoy a quiet and private space.
