WIMOS-RESS

Next generation implants will be miniaturised and wirelessly powered. The standard architecture to inductively power a biomedical implant is based on an external transmitter coil and an implanted receiver coil resonating at the same operating frequency.

WIMOS-RESS (WIreless MOdular Switching RESonator System) is an innovative inductive architecture which simultaneously increases the power delivered to the load and the number of implants which can be powered at the same time.
