DNA extraction from a banana in the Schoonjans lab
On November 10th 2016, Dr. Demagny welcomed 8 children from 10 to 12 years and showed them how to extract DNA from a banana using table salt, soap and rubbing alcohol. Lots of fun in the lab and congratulations to our little future scientists.
