Directions
It is pretty easy to get to EPFL, either by public transportation or car. Here are some directions you may find useful:
From Lausanne’s railway station (CFF)
1. Take a train to Renens and get off there.
2. Walk onto platform one. You will find there the terminus of the M1 Line.
3. Catch the M1 and get off at the stop named “EPFL” (the fifth one from Renens).
4. You are now at the north of the campus. Use the map above in order to find our labs.
From Lausanne (Gare du Flon)
There is another way to come at EPFL as the M1 other terminus lies in the city centre of Lausanne, at the Flon’s train station. If you take it there, get off as well at “EPFL” and follow the same instructions as given above.
From Geneva(-Airport)
Take a train to Renens or Lausanne and follow the instructions as given above.
By car
The nearest motorway exit is Dorigny/Bourdonnette/Hautes Ecoles (EPFL should be signposted as well). Once you left the motorway, carry straight on. You should see sport fields and the lake on your left. After a few hundred metres, you will see the well-known Rolex Learning Center on your right. Just after, you will have the opportunity to turn rightward. From now on you are on the campus.
