How to visit
The city of Lausanne lies in the western part of Switzerland, in very close proximity to France and Italy in the heart of Central Europe. Lausanne is easy to reach from Geneva International Airport (~60 minutes by train or road). The train from Zurich International Airport to Lausanne takes approximately 2h30 minutes. Lausanne can also be reached in a few hours by high speed trains from many European cities including Paris and Milan. By car, from the motorway, follow the direction “Lausanne-Sud”, exit “EPFL”.
The EPFL Lausanne campus is adjacent to the Ecublens VD, EPFL station of the M1 metro line from Lausanne. Detailed instructions on how to get to our lab in the SV building are here.
