When observing a lens, the first acquisition will always put the lens close to the center of the third-from-the-left CCD of the top row of the mosaic. Below is a full view of the eight chips composing the mosaic. The lens should appear somewhere in the green square (depending on the lens exact coordinates and the pointing model of the night). Use the detailed finding charts below to identify the lens and the nearby stars and refine the acquisition. After that step, the lens should appear at the center of the green square, and you can safely move on with the science exposures.
