Astrophysics involves the study of our Universe, its galaxies, stars, planets, moons and other  phenomena to help us better understand the fundamental laws of science, comprehend the evolution of the Universe, and satisfy our natural curiosity to know what is beyond the night sky.

The mission of EPFL’s Laboratory of Astrophysics (LASTRO) is to contribute to this field of study through dedicated research and high-quality education programs and tools.
