ARCHITECT
ACADEMIC HEAD
Augustin Clément is an independent architect and teacher, graduated from EPFL. His work spans from architecture to the territorial design with a focus on rural conditions. After working at Herzog & de Meuron (2014-2017) he worked in diverse collaborations and now founded in Paris studio mäc with Julia Mäckler, exploring the spatial and poetic transformation of existing conditions.
In Parallel, he is teaching since 2017, first as an assistant with Harry Gugger at LABA EPFL, then at ALICE EPFL as a studio Director and recently in Germany at FH-Postdam and with Verena Schmidt at BTU-Cottbus teaching territorial design with a focus on energy landscapes and rural condition in Brandenburg. In 2025, he comes back at ALICE EPFL to take the role of academic head for the 1st year in architecture.
