Grading and Marking

Grades are considered very important both for the teachers and the students; for the former they give feedback on how well students understood the course, while for the latter they serve as a record of achievement and open doors to future courses and careers.

- Information on how to deal with cheating and plagiarism.
Assessment advice, organisation and logistics:
- Exam invigilation guidelines (logistics before, during and after the exam).
- Communication to students (what to tell the students and when).
- Advice on designing assessments and grading, special mention to MCT,
- Course- and exam-related deadlines and dates,
- Contact information for the Registrar’s Office (timetable, exams, etc.),
- Models for agreements for Master’s projects outside EPFL (when needed).
