In fall 2021, EPFL’s upper management has approved the Harassment Task Force’s proposal to set up two new resources:
- Trust and Support Network: one person has been hired as from May 2022 to set up this community-wide network; it will consist of people who will serve as the first point of contact for victims and witnesses of discrimination, violence or harassment, and guide them to the appropriate internal or external support services, which will be strengthened.
- Respect Compliance Office: an independant entity will be in charge of managing formal complaints; it will ensure cases are handled impartially and effectively. This resource is currently being staffed.
