In fall 2021, EPFL’s upper management has approved the Harassment Task Force’s proposal to set up two new resources:
- Trust and Support Network: one person will be hired to set up this community-wide network; it will consist of people who will serve as the first point of contact for victims and witnesses of discrimination, violence or harassment, and guide them to the appropriate internal or external support services, which will be strengthened.
- Respect Compliance Office: an outside entity will be in charge of managing formal complaints; it will be run independently of EPFL to ensure cases are handled impartially and effectively.
These two resources are currently being staffed.
In addition, the following projects are underway:
- Anti-harassment e-learning
- Discussion groups
