Scientific Assistant
Marion Moutal is an architect who studied at EPFL and is currently working as a scientific assistant at the lab THEMA within the Institute of Architecture at EPFL. Prior to joining THEMA, she has worked on dams in Swiss alpine landscape through the lens of of climate change, focusing on landscape, built environment, environmental and economic policies, and engineering aspects; proposing an alternative structure going beyond its purely utilitarian condition while living in our critical current environment and fulfilling human needs. Previously, she collaborated on public renovation projects of historical buildings in Lausanne to preserve the historical heritage and adapt them to contemporary needs.
