Step into the Arboreal Futures exhibition at EPFL Pavillon A, open from November 13, 2024, to January 5, 2025, where science and art join forces to celebrate… trees! At the heart of the show, our research at the Plant Ecology Research Lab shines a light on how trees respond to climate change. From CO₂ storage to their incredible adaptability (yes, trees are the original shape-shifters!), you’ll discover how forests are facing—and maybe even tackling—the climate crisis. Come see tech wizardry, like Krzysztof Wronski’s tree-empowering installations, and Maja Renn’s [Pheno]Plasticity, which asks, “Can trees be as flexible as yoga instructors?”.
