HyMeX

HyMeX (Hydrological cycle in the Mediterranean Experiment) is an international exeriment aiming at better understanding the water cycle in the Mediterranean region. LTE is involved in the working group focusing on heavy precipitation. Our X-band polarimetric radar, our 2DVD and 9 disdrometers (Parsivel 1st generation) have been deployed in Ardèche:

Network of disdrometers

Measured DSD and derived rain rate as a function of time during the last significant rainy day, from the Parsivel installed at Mirabel.

The plot size may excess 1MB in case of heavy rain.
