“I earned my undergraduate degree at Chinese University of Hong Kong, where I majored in biochemistry and got a glimpse in neuroscience. I completed my master degree at International Max Planck Research School of Neuroscience, affiliated with University of Göttingen in Germany. During my master project, I started gaining experience to study the molecular mechanism of fear and anxiety using tissue clearing techniques. I am currently a PhD student in the Gräff’s Laboratory of Neuroepigenetics where I deepen my exploration to push the boundary of tissue clearing and dissect the epigenetic mechanism of memory engrams. I think that seeing is believing, and I am enthusiastic to embrace myself more on imaging-based technologies in answering fundamental neuroscience questions. Outside of work, I love reading and swimming.”
