Each year, in order to highlight the excellence of our PhD Students’ research work and scientific merit, the EDAR doctoral program grants an EPFL Distinction for exceptionnally high quality theses.
The EDAR ad hoc committee (Program director and Deputy Head) carefully evaluates the theses nominees who defended and passed their oral exam between 1st October and 30th September, and rewards the top 8%. The laureates receive a diploma and an engraved pen.
