The EPFL section of ACC was founded on 24 January 2007. It automatically groups all ACC members who are or have been employed by EPFL.
Presently (Sept. 2013), the section counts 110 members.
The ACC is a union bringing together more than 4500 members of the higher ranks (functional position 8 or higher*) of the Confederation or its firms. It is politically independent and endeavors to promote the material and immaterial interests we all set our hearts to. So it participates to all negotiations pertaining to commitment and Social Security with the Federal authorities and the Council of the Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology.
*PhD students and post-docs may also become members as future ‘higher ranks’
