ETH Domain Open Research Data (ORD) has an open call for Contribute Projects Track in Measure 1: Calls for Field-Specific Actions. The call aims to support ETH researchers to engage in, and develop ORD practices and to become ORD leaders in their fields. Contribute Projects Track can provide support to researchers who wish to contribute to existing open communities built around ORD. They can validate their integration with existing infrastructures (including international ones) and focus on their potential to advance the scientific impact of the field and their technical quality.

Swissunivesties Open Research Data Grants has an open call for Track A: Explore Projects aims to support early-phase exploration as well as the testing and prototyping of a potential ORD practice. It allows for engagement with a community without necessarily creating a final product. The objective is to help researchers explore if and how ORD practices can be developed.

CHIST-ERA (European coordinated research in long-term ICT and ICT-based scientific challenges) launched a special call on ORD that cuts across disciplines, with the aim to contribute to developing the expertise in ORD in Europe. CHIST-ERA 2022 Special Call: Open and Reusable Research Data addresses the challenge of ORD and software from the perspective of their potential reuse. The goal is to create, in any field, conditions for research based on open or shared data and software. Although CHIST-ERA is primarily focused on ICT, this call is open to any research area within, at the interface of or outside ICT.
