Postdoc positions.
LNCE currently seeks for 1 postdoctoral researcher.
Here some key requirements:
- fresh from finishing their PhD;
- solid track record (e.g. 2-3 publications as the only first author and several collaborative publications in journals including JACS, ACS Catal, ACS Energy Lett, Chem. Sci., Angew. Chemie. Int. Ed., Inorg. Chem., Nature family, …);
- strong presentation and communication skills, continuous growth mindset, highly motivated.
Areas of interest include high temperature electrocatalysis, thermal heterogeneous catalysis and homogeneous catalysis. However, excellent candidates in other areas related to the group research are encouraged to apply.

PhD positions.
LNCE seeks for 2 highly motivated and talented students with a degree in chemistry, materials science or chemical engineering.

Students interested in developing their master thesis in LNCE are encouraged to send their CV, copies of transcripts and a cover letter to [email protected] with email subject “Master project”. We will then discuss about the various projects available in the group.

ISIC Master Grant for Foreign Students
The ISIC Master Grant has been created to support the master work of foreign students at the Institute of Chemical Sciences and Engineering (ISIC). ISIC Grants amount to CHF 1800 a month for a maximum of 6 months. Interested candidates for a master work at the LNCE under the ISIC Master Grant programm should send an application including letter of motivation, CV, grades transcript and name of referee to Prof. Raffaella Buonsanti at raffaella.buonsanti @epfl.ch. The most promising candidates will be examined by ISIC for an eventual fellowship. Applications have to be send 4 months before the beginning of the practical work.
