We are always seeking motivated researchers to join our dynamic team at the ETHOS Lab. For general inquiries about joining the lab, please fill out this form. Unfortunately, Prof. Sonta is unable to respond to individual email requests that are not tied to specific positions.

Prospective PhD students are encouraged to apply for the Doctoral Program in Civil and Environmental Engineering (EDCE) and indicate their interest in working with Prof. Sonta.

Current EPFL Master students are encouraged to view our Semester and Thesis projects on IS Academia.

Bachelor students at EPFL who are interested in getting involved in research in the lab are encouraged to apply for the Summer in the Lab Program (for 2nd and 3rd year students) or the Laidlaw Scholars Leadership and Research Program (for 1st year students), indicating their interest to work at ETHOS.

ETHOS strongly encourages applications from individuals from groups underrepresented in science and engineering, including women and underrepresented minorities.
