Double-sided fiber laser heating system
Our laser heating system is used to generate temperatures of Earth’s deep interior inside the diamond anvil cell. The 200 W infrared laser beam is split by polarization to independently heat the two sides of the sample. Heating is monitored visually and by spectroscopy of the blackbody radiation from the sample.
