Starting your PhD at EPFL? Join this new interactive workshop – taking place twice per year – designed especially for first year PhD candidates to discover more about your doctoral journey at EPFL and how to make the most of your experience!

During this workshop, you will learn more about:

• The goal and purpose of a PhD
• The timeline of a PhD at EPFL
• Best practices for a successful PhD
• Common challenges and the resources available to help you
• PhD life at EPFL

Through a combination of interactive presentations and discussions, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, share their experience, and connect with peers who are also beginning their PhD journey.

The workshop is fully online and open to PhD candidates based in EPFL associated campuses.
