Come join us on the first week after Easter break, where we will be giving out free food and holding fun workshops as part of the Agepoly event “Back from Paques”!
The plan is the following:
18th April (12:00-13:00):
A wide selection of delicious Ukrainian food prepared by our delightful volunteers will be given out for free! Come try Borscht, Pyrizhky (vegetable or meat pies), Pasky (traditional Easter cake), Mlyntsi and Nalysnyky (Pancakes), and a lot more, accompanied by live music. If you have always wanted to try our famous Ukrainian cuisine, this is your chance!
18th and 19th April (13:00-18:00):
We will organize fun workshops to teach you how to make various traditional Ukrainian Easter decorations: painted eggs (Pysanky), angels, and candles. Volunteers will guide you through the easy steps needed to create a beautiful object, which you will then get to take home!
We will also be holding quizzes where you will have a chance to win some prizes. Of course, we will also have more delicious snacks on hand, we wouldn’t want to leave you hungry 🙂
