Join us for an exciting event on quantum science and technology for students and curious minds!
To celebrate 100 years of quantum science and technology, we invite you to discover the strange and fascinating world of quantum physics through hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations, workshops, and engaging talks. Whether youâre new to the topic or already intrigued by quantum science, this event will spark your imagination and show you the real-world applications of quantum mechanics!
The event will be held mainly in French, with some presentations in English and German, thanks to our dynamic international research community.
This event is free, but registration is required:
To participate in a workshop (11-15 years old), additional registration is required.

M1 metro from Renens or Lausanne Flon stations to the EPFL Ecublens VD stop
Bus 705 from Lonay/Préverenges/Denges/Echandens/Ecublens to the EPFL Piccard Ecublens VD stop
We encourage you to use public transportation. However, there are two on-site parking options:
- EPFL RIVIER parking – access from Av. J-R. Perronet. EPFL staff parking is freely accessible and free of charge on weekends to all visitors.
- SwissTech Village Parking – located under the SwissTech Convention Center (CHF 4/hour)
Please be aware that dogs and other pets are not allowed inside the building.
