Students are expected to organize and pay for their own accommodation during the course. We strongly recommend booking early.
Accommodation at the PSI Guesthouse – NOW FULL, WAIT LIST ONLY
15 single rooms with washbasin are available for undergraduate and PhD students attending the 2023 Powder Diffraction School from Sunday, 10 September 2023 (Monday, 11 September also possible) to Friday, 15 September 2023.
Price per person
CHF50/ night for single use. Breakfast not included. Changes or cancellations to this reservation must be made no later than 10.00 am on the day of arrival. After that, the cost of at least one night will be charged.
Please tick the appropriate box in the Powder Diffraction School registration form. Reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.
The reception office hours: Mon-Fri: 07:45 – 12:00 and 13:00 – 17:00 | Location: at the entrance of the West Campus (WLGA), opposite the auditorium. The key can be collected from the security guard at the West Entrance outside of opening hours. To contact the guard please call internal telephone 2600 or 8350, the telephone is located at the entrance to the West Campus.
Please settle your guesthouse bill during your stay directly at PSI Reception West during the office hours, Mon – Fri: 07:45 – 12:00 and 13:00 – 17:00. In cash: Swiss Francs and Euros | By credit card, V-Pay, Maestro, Postcard or TWINT.

Hotels and B&Bs
We have pre-booked a block of rooms at the Centurion Towerhotel. This hotel is conveniently located opposite the university of applied sciences in Brugg/Windisch, approx. 5 minutes on foot from Brugg train station. The cost for a single will be around CHF 110 per night, including breakfast. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form if you are interested in this option and we will contact you with the details
