December 2016: All the LSPN members wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2017! 2016 was the end of Tu’s PhD studies. After his master project, Balàzs started his PhD this year and will try to do his best during the following 4 years. Dr Ren and Dr. Wang left the lab for Canada and Dr. Shuo Tong started another post-doc in the LSPN. Welcome back! In addition to the PhDs and post-Docs, many students and interns also spend some weeks/months in the lab and are now hopefully well trained for their future career in chemistry. Concerning the chemistry, this year was full of success with more than 17 papers accepted or already published, most of them in Angewandte Chemie or JACS! 3 recent alkaloids total syntheses were highlighted in Synfact. Tu obtained the SNF scholarship for his future post-doc and Prof. Zhu received the Natural Product Award 2016 from the RSC. 2017 will be a year with many changes with a new lab and at least 6 new master/PhD and post.doc arriving at the beginning of the year. Let’s hope that more papers, more prices and degrees, and more total syntheses will be part of 2017! |

2015
| December 2015: All the LSPN members wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy new year 2016!
2015 was the end of their studies for some PhD students of the LSPN, namely Olivier, Viktoria and Claire. Mathias, Raphaël and Aurore started their PhD this year and will try to do their best during the following 4 years. Dr. Tong and Dr. Guanyinsheng left the lab for new opportunities but Dr. Torres Ochoa and Dr. Wu replaced them and started a post-doc in the LSPN. In addition to the PhD and post-Doc, many students and interns also spend some weeks/months in the lab and are now hopefully well trained for their future career in chemistry. Concerning the chemistry, this year was full of success with more than 12 papers accepted or already published in the top journals. Some of our group members won prices for their work in the LSPN and obtained scholarship Let’s hope that more papers, more prices and degrees, and more total syntheses will be part of 2016! |

| December 2014: The LSPN and all its members wish you a Merry Christmas and a very successful year 2015!
This year was full of successful chemistry with more than 10 papers accepted or already published in the top journals. Moreover many of our group members won prices for their work in the LSPN. 2014 was also the end of their studies for the first PhD students of the LSPN, namely Ala, JB and Thomas. Nicolas and Cyril started their PhD this year and will try to do at least as good as the “old” PhD. Dr. Xu and Dr. Bo left the lab for new opportunities but Dr. Wangqing, Dr. Xu and Dr. Guanyinsheng replaced them and started a post-doc in the LSPN. Let’s hope that more papers, more prices and degrees, and more total syntheses will be part of 2015! |
