Biography
I am a PhD student at KAUST, where I am advised by Prof. Peter Richtárik. My research focuses on developing the algorithmic and mathematical foundations of randomized optimization, with a particular emphasis on distributed computing. I design practically motivated algorithms with provable convergence guarantees, aiming to bridge theory and real-world applications to advance scalable machine learning.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Warwick in 2022 and earned a Master’s in Statistical Science from the University of Oxford in 2023. My work has been recognized with the Google PhD Fellowship in Algorithms and Optimization.
