Biography

Before joining LIONS, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the ELLIS Institute Tübingen. I completed my PhD in the ELLIS programme at the University of Freiburg, supervised by Frank Hutter and co-supervised by Yee Whye Teh at the University of Oxford. Since 2025, I am also an ELLIS Member. My research focuses on designing efficient and adaptive intelligent systems, including sub-quadratic sequence models, multi-objective optimization algorithms, and emergent computation. Other than research, I enjoy practicing Wushu, cooking and philosophy.
