Objectives
Biomethane potential (BMP) tests are used to determine the amount of methane that can be produced from organic matter. However, the outcome of such tests varies a lot between different laboratories. It is proposed here to carry out an international inter-laboratory test where a new guideline will be applied in about 30 laboratories to verify the impact of this guideline on the variability of BMP test results.
