The Laboratory of Architecture and Sustainable Technologies (LAST) research works at the building level bring together a certain number of exploration fields, particularly the integration of bioclimatic principles into the architectural design (passive and high-performing architecture on an environmental basis), the study and development of architectural devices that meet the issues of sustainability and eco-building design, the analysis of environmental performances on the whole life cycle or the development of modular, flexible and adaptable concepts.
These research works focus as much on new constructions as they do on various types of interventions in constructions (cleaning-up strategies, renovation, transformation, extension, roof-raising, or reallocation).
