Welcome to Anna and Arthur!

Published:10.03.24 — We are very pleased to welcome new GBF team members. Anna Piceni joined our group for an internship in the frame of her training as Chemistry Laboratory Assistant. She will stay with us until August 2025. In the frame of the preparation of his double degree from ENS-Lyon (France) and EPFL, Arthur Roudaut joined our group for a 40 days research internship. He will work on the development of DNA biosensors based on functionalized borosilicate slides.

Adrian passed his PhD thesis exam, congratulations!

Published:08.01.24 — We are very pleased to share that Adrian Gheata passed his PhD thesis oral exam on December 19th 2023. His thesis entitled " Functionalization of Harmonic Nanoparticles for Drug Release and Multimodal Imaging Applications" was reviewed by a committee composed of MER Dr Ruud Hovius (jury president), Profs Inge Herrmann and Olivier Mongin (external reviewers) and Prof. Kay Severin (internal reviewer). We are very grateful to the members of the jury for the time spent on the evaluation of the thesis manuscript and their participation in the oral exmaination. 

Anna is awarded a SNSF Swiss Postdoctoral Fellowship!
