The giant interactive monolith in the Datasquare center at the EPFL ArtLab building now has a cool visualisation of students watching EPFL MOOC videos across the world over a 24h period.
The Datasquare center is a welcome area where campus visitors can learn about the main research projects under way at EPFL, particularly projects in the domains of data science and big data. The MOOCs initiative has given rise to a variety of research projects and publications in the area of learning analytics and educational big data.
