EPFL has established a dedicated unit to rapidly deploy all available support when members of its community are affected by events in Switzerland or abroad. The Task Force for Community Support (TFC) ensures the monitoring and follow-up of situations (in Switzerland and internationally) resulting from armed conflicts, political crises, or natural disasters, and coordinates potential actions to be undertaken on campus.
The TFC takes over the activities and follow-up previously carried out by the ILOT structure, which was specifically dedicated to the situation in the Middle East and has now been closed.
