The festival encourages collaboration and aims to strengthen ties on campus by bringing together professional artists, student organizations, and EPFL staff, as well as several cultural organizations in the region.
By examining, through the lens of the arts, certain societal, technical, and scientific issues of our time, the festival offers us a sensory experience and perspective that are essential to understanding the world and fostering innovation.

Julian Sartorius

Experimental Concert
Known for his unique, playful, and highly virtuosic approach to his instrument, internationally renowned drummer Julian Sartorius will perform RLLRLRLLRRLRLRLRLLRLRLR, a score composed for an ensemble of percussionists in which “R” stands for right hand and “L” stands for left hand. Julian Sartorius will also give a solo concert at 7:00 p.m.
Concert at 12:00 p.m. (1 hour) and at 7:00 p.m. (30-minute solo)

Exhibition Opening
The artist duo Andrea Anner & Thibault Brevet (AATB) presents NO/NC, a swarm of inflatable barriers that move autonomously, forming temporary structures and barricades that prevent visitors from moving about freely.
