EPFL offers assignments in the fields of environmental protection, health, cultural heritage preservation, and science promotion, in accordance with the activities defined in the job descriptions approved by the Regional Center of the Federal Civil Service Office (CIVI).
Approved Programs
- Project Assistant (in the field of nature and environmental protection or in the health sector)
- Assistant at the Archives of Modern Construction
- Support for Science Activities for Children
According to the Civil Service, these programs are classified as non-priority.
Required or Desired Skills
Depending on the job descriptions approved by the Civil Service.
Conditions
Anyone who has studied or worked at EPFL is not allowed to carry out a civil service assignment there within 12 months following their activity.
In addition to the loss-of-earnings compensation paid by the Civil Service, the civilist receives from EPFL a daily allowance of CHF 27.50 and reimbursement of public transport expenses.
