The EPFL Direction sets strategic priorities in the areas of respect and equal opportunity. Equal Opportunity Office, attached to the Vice Presidency for Human Development (VPH) takes concrete actions in each of these three areas.
EPFL wants to ensure that staff, students and researchers can get the psychological help and support they need to achieve their full potential. The Trust and Support Network (TSN) offers listening, guidance and support in complete confidentiality. It is composed of internal and external instances with a mandate to provide assistance in situations related to psychosocial risks.
Sustainability is one of EPFL’s strategic priorities, both in its teaching, research and innovation activities and in its day-to-day operations across its campuses. Part of the Vice Presidency for Support to Strategic Initiatives (VPS) since 2025, Sustainability Team EPFL coordinates the Climate & Sustainability Strategy.
