26 – 31 July 2026, Barcelona, Spain
The Green Chemistry GRC is a premier, international scientific conference focused on advancing the frontiers of science through the presentation of cutting-edge and unpublished research, prioritizing time for discussion after each talk and fostering informal interactions among scientists of all career stages.
This conference will be held in conjunction with the Green Chemistry Gordon Research Seminar: Connecting Chemistry with Sustainability Across Scales.
Energy Day 2026
24 August 2026, EPFL
How should the research community contribute to the energy transition?
The Energy Day is an event dedicated to energy research and technology. We foster the research community to engage in evidence-based discussions on the future of Switzerland’s energy system and to reflect on how research can most effectively contribute to the energy transition.
8th workshop on Energy for Sustainable Science at Research Infrastructures
Since its inception, ESSRI has provided a unique forum for scientists, engineers, infrastructure managers, policy makers, and industry representatives to exchange ideas and experiences on energy efficiency, sustainability, and environmental impact of large-scale research infrastructures. Building on this solid tradition, ESSRI 2026 will identify the technical, strategic, and operational challenges that must be confronted in order to design and implement truly sustainable research infrastructures. The conference will provide a forum for sharing experiences on emerging energy-efficient technologies, innovative approaches to energy management, current project practices, and life-cycle assessments, while also opening the floor to discussions about future directions and evolving global needs.
