Nanophotonics and Metrology Laboratory – NAM
We are a team of enthusiastic scientists working on plasmonics, the optics of metallic nanostructures. Our research is at the crossroad between nanophotonics, electromagnetics and nanotechnologies, with a comprehensive approach that includes modelling, nanofabrication and optical characterization. Applications of our work include the development of optical metasurfaces, nonlinear plasmonics, biosensing techniques, security elements, as well as the fundamental properties of plasmonic nanostructures.
Welcome to the website of the NAM !
We have one post-doc open position!

We are organising SPP12, the 12th International Conference on Surface Plasmon Photonics in Lausanne, Switzerland, from June 27 until July 2, 2027!
This non-profit, community-driven conference offers a vibrant forum for scientific exchange, bringing together early-career and established researchers in plasmonics and nanophotonics in a stimulating yet relaxed atmosphere! The distinguished plenary and invited speakers who have accepted our invitation are a testament to the diversity, vitality and dynamism of this exciting field of research!
