The Kozicka Lab welcomes highly motivated and curious researchers interested in protein degradation and quality control, broader principles of molecular recognition, and mechanisms of drug action. We are a growing group and are always happy to hear from excellent candidates.

We are currently recruiting one PhD student in biochemistry and chemical biology, with an expected start date in Summer/Fall 2026.
Details of the project, required qualifications, and application materials are described in the dedicated PhD position posting below. A PhD in Switzerland is typically 4 years. During this time, you will be supported with an internationally competitive salary (current rates here), but application for additional fellowships is encouraged.

ISIC Master Grant for Foreign Students
The ISIC Master Grant supports Master’s thesis projects carried out by international students at ISIC and provides CHF 1,600 per month for up to six months.
Deadlines:
- October 15 – projects starting January–June of the following year
- April 15 – projects starting July–December of the same year
Students interested in pursuing a Master’s project in our group under this program should submit a single PDF containing:
