Johan Celsing arkitektkontor based in Stockholm and Malmö, has developed projects for art institutions, universities and housing. Recent projects include: the Årsta church, the New Crematorium at the Woodland Cemetery in Stockholm and an on-going project for an art centre next to Aalto’s Villa Mairea in Finland. Celsing was professor of Advanced Design at the Royal institute of Technology in Stockholm. He has published essays such as: The Robust the sincere, Decorum-Tentative notes on it’s contemporary relevance and use, Plans Metres. Park Books, Zurich, recently published a monography on his work: Johan Celsing, Buildings Texts.
