Allied Vision G-130 VSWIR camera

The Allied Vision G-130 VSWIR TEC1 camera is a visible short-wave infrared (VSWIR) camera, capable of capturing images in both the visible and near-infrared spectrum.
It features an InGaAs sensor from Sony (IMX990 model) with 1.3 MP resolution and 5um pixel size, an integrated thermoelectric cooling (TEC) stage to reduce dark current and a 1GigE interface for data transfer. The camera is powered up by an Hirose 12pins I/O cable.
The wavelength range goes from 400nm to 1700nm, with a quantum efficiency over 50% in this range. Full specs can be found here.
Data acquisition is performed with the freely available Vimba X software from Allied Vision (download link here) or with any other GigE vision standard compliant third-party software.

Applications of SWIR imaging are numerous, going from semiconductor inspection, through-fog seeing, materials and plastics sorting or thermal imaging of hot objects. An additional longpass filter (LP920 from MidOpt, C-Mount filter) can be seamlessly mounted in front of the camera to image only in the SWIR region above 920nm.
A 1/4-20 to M6 thread adapter is available for mounting the camera on optical benches/tables, e.g. for beam profiling application.

The camera is shared equipment for the STI-IMX faculty. Please contact Prof. Fabien Sorin for use.
