We invite you to a unique musical concert at EPFL Lausanne featuring world-class music performance, hosted by the Digital and Cognitive Musicology Lab (DCML).

The program explores different kinds of pattern building in musical composition and spans four centuries of music, including works by Guillaume de Machaut (c. 1300–1377), John Bull (c. 1562–1628), Johann Sebastian Bach (1685–1750), as well as contemporary compositions. The evening will also feature live improvisations inspired by similar compositional ideas, including explorations with our interactive musical AI, L.A.R.S.

This concert is organized by the Digital and Cognitive Musicology Lab (DCML) and supported by the School of Computer and Communication Sciences and the College of Humanities.
