Go out of the train station and cross the “Place de la Gare”, either via the main hall or via the subway.
The metro station is just on the right side of Mc Donald’s and Vapiano restaurants. Take the metro line M2 in the direction of CROISETTES and get off the metro at the very next stop: LAUSANNE FLON (=1 stop).
At LAUSANNE FLON, change and take the metro line M1 in the direction of RENENS CFF and get off at the EPFL station (= 9 stops).

- There is a metro departure every 10 minutes
- The price of the ticket is CHF 3.70 (full price) for two zones (11 and 12 – Grand Lausanne) valid for one hour
- It takes about 20min to get from Lausanne train station to the EPFL station during the working hours
BM building can be seen from the EPFL metro stop on the other side of the rails:
Take the stairs to the underground passage or the elevator to the bridge to cross the metro rails.

At the Renens station take the metro line M1 which is next to the train track 1 in the direction of Lausanne-Flon.

On the motorway, follow Lausanne-Sud, then exit at University-EPFL. Straight ahead at the roundabouts until the sign EPFL, there turn to the right and cross the round about straight to the underground parking Esplanade.

From Esplanade walk the stairs or take the elevator to the 2nd level and enter the BM building on your right.
