Educated as both a civil engineer (2011, INSA) and an architect (2013, ENSA Toulouse), Tiphaine Abenia holds a Ph.D. in architecture from the University of Montreal and the University Toulouse Jean Jaurés (2019). She is the co-founder of the association ACĒ (Atelier de Conception Non Extractive). Her research focuses on liminal urban phenomena, opened structures in architecture and critical design tools. She joined the ALICE team in 2019 as a studio director.
