This year’s Diwali celebration, organized by YUVA – Indians, was a resounding success, attracting over 250 attendees.
We had the honour of welcoming his excellency, Mr. Arindam Bagchi, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva, as our chief guest, along with Mr. Rahul Srivastava, Minister (TA) and Consul General at the Permanent Mission of India.
The evening featured a series of captivating performances by our fellow students and colleagues, beautifully highlighting the richness of Indian culture. The event culminated in a high-energy Bhangra performance by the Mood for Bhangra team, a vibrant Bollywood DJ set, and a delightful North Indian dinner catered by Zayeka — all of which were met with enthusiastic appreciation from the audience.
