 EPFL Personnel Commission –  Election Results

Elections were held in December 2025 to the EPFL Personnel Commission. 

The scientific staff (corp intermediaire-intermediate body) have two seats. There were 8 candidates up for election

We congratulate Kathlyn KAO (PhD) and Maria PAVLOU (Scientist) on their election. ELSA endaevours to work in close collaboration with them

💰FYI : Your Salary

All employees should have received the following as an email from the Vice Presidency of Human Development on December 22 2025:

“We are pleased to forward to you the message from the President of the ETH Board, Michael Hengartner, confirming a cost‑of‑living adjustment of 0.1% granted as of January 2026 to professors remunerated under the ETH Professorial Ordinance and to employees covered by the Personnel Ordinance for the ETH Domain.

This adjustment is in line with the deliberations of the Swiss Parliament and the decision of the Federal Council regarding employees of the Confederation.

The EPFL Management has decided to apply this compensation also to doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, scientific assistants, and apprentices.”
